Galangal is a major spice in Southeast Asian cuisine
A classic spice from Southeast Asia, galangal is sometimes called Thai ginger, Chinese ginger or Lao ginger. This rhizome can be used fresh or dry, we offer it here in a dried and powdered version.
Characterized by citrus notes, lemony but also spicy, it tastes similar to both combawa (or combava) and ginger.
In cooking it goes very well with fish and in all sauces based on coconut milk. It is also an interesting addition to wok-fried vegetables.
