Cinnamon powder
This great classic of spices is made of the dried bark of the cinnamon tree. Sweet or savory, its use depends on cultures and regions of the world. In the West, it is mainly used in desserts, quite classically with apple or chocolate. In North Africa, India, or Greece, cinnamon is used to enhance savory dishes such as red meat and poultry. It is also often added to couscous and tagines.
