A combination of dill, pink peppercorns and salish salt, this blend offers a range of fresh, tangy and smoky flavors. Salish salt is a natural red alder wood smoked salt from Washington State in the northwestern United States. The term "Salish" originally refers to the name of a Native American tribe who lived on these lands long before colonization. Popular with top chefs, it blends perfectly with the herbaceous and fruity flavors of pink peppercorns and dill. This Nordic blend is ideal for flavoring a "gravelax" salmon, it can also be used as a marinade for fish served raw or seared a la plancha. Mixed with fresh yogurt, it would be perfect with steamed potatoes.
