The Salish salt is a sea salt (Pacific ocean) which comes from the United States and more precisely in the North of the State of Washington. Historically, it was harvested by native Amerindian populations of the northern part of that State. The Salish salt is smoked Alder wood giving it a color and a unique smoky aroma.
